We’re looking to add an editor to our team with some serious knowledge in both Adobe Premiere, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve. Ability to take direction, quickly respond to feedback, and think on your feet is essential. The ideal candidate is someone who can balance many projects and shifting priorities while communicating clearly and delivering on time.
People who excel on this team are positive, kind, self-motivated, flexible of thought, and able to juggle multiple responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and a drive to problem solve.

​/Ability to apply filming directing skills

/A better understanding of cinematography, storytelling, and the filmmaking process

/Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality results;

/Ability to observe internal processes and propose ongoing improvements.

Responsibilities

/Film editing;

/Follow a film production workflow;

/Help the other team members in this workflow;

/Direct film cameras and 3D cameras;

/Direct film workflow to set the tone and mood;

/Developing scripts, plots, storytelling lines, and ideas for films is a plus.

Skill/Experience

/Extremely organized and meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of your work;

/Experience working remotely;

/Knowledge and interest in current trends in video, cinema, and film production;

/Ability to adapt to ongoing processes, priorities, tasks, and workload changes;

/Articulate, thoughtful written and verbal communication;

/Able to work independently or with a team.

/Previous work experience as a film editor;

/Strong understanding of various deliverable specifications, including file types, frame rates, aspect ratios, and ability to troubleshoot and communicate concerns or inconsistencies in specs;

/Experience with Mac and Windows-based computers, file servers, networking, file management of media assets, and content management;

/Demonstrate excellent creative instincts and judgment;

/Creative mind, storytelling, and script skills;

/Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects;

/Ability to work on a tight schedule;

/Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.
