/ART DIRECTOR

The Art Director has an important role in leading and managing the creative design process. The professional oversees all the process, guiding the Branding Team in the development of creative concepts and visual executions for advertising and marketing materials across print, digital, social media, and video platforms. Collaborating closely with copywriter, account managers, and clients, the person has the responsibility to ensure the visual strategies align with campaign objectives and brand guidelines while maintaining high standards of creativity and production quality. The Senior Art Director provides creative direction, feedback, and mentorship to junior designers, fostering their growth and ensuring consistency in visual storytelling. They also stay abreast of industry trends and emerging AI technologies to innovate and enhance the ES creative output, contributing to the overall success and impact of our client campaigns.

/Feedback and satisfaction ratings from clients regarding the visual elements and overall creative direction of campaigns.

/Evaluation of the team's performance, including their ability to execute creative briefs, collaborate effectively, and meet project deadlines.

/Adherence to project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality visual assets.

/Progression of team members under their leadership, demonstrated through skill development, portfolio growth, and career advancement.

/Optimization of resources and processes to improve workflow efficiency and minimize production costs while maintaining creative standards.


Main Responsibilities
/Participate in daily meetings with the ES Branding Team to discuss ongoing projects, brainstorm new ideas, and provide guidance on visual concepts.

/Collaborate with copywriters, account managers, and other ES team members to ensure alignment of visual strategies with campaign objectives and client expectations.

/Work with Junior and Mid-Level Art Director to develop and refine creative concepts and visual executions for Real Estate proposal.

/Review and provide feedback on design drafts, ensuring they meet brand guidelines, creative briefs, and quality standards.

/Attend client meetings to present creative concepts, discuss feedback, and address any concerns or revisions.

/Maintain open communication channels with Project Managers to understand client needs and preferences, ensuring satisfaction with visual deliverables.

/Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure projects stay on track.

/Coordinate with production teams, photographers, illustrators, and other external vendors as needed to facilitate the creation of visual assets.

/Address challenges or creative hurdles that arise during the day, finding innovative solutions to meet project objectives and deadlines.

/Stay updated on industry trends, new AI technologies, and design best practices through research, networking, and attending industry events or workshops.

/Ensure all necessary documentation, approvals, and updates are completed for ongoing projects.

/Providing leadership for visual aspects of campaigns.

/Collaborating on concept development across print, digital, and video mediums, overseeing design quality and consistency.

/Communicating with clients to understand needs and present ideas.

/Managing and mentoring a team of mid-level and Junior Art Directors.

/Coordinating project timelines and resources, ensuring adherence to budgets.

/Staying updated on industry trends and innovations.

/Fostering strong client relationships through delivering high-quality creative solutions that meet or exceed expectations.

Skills/Experience:
/At least 5 years of experience in art direction in an advertising agency.

/Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create and edit visual assets.

/Knowledge of typography principles and ability to effectively use typefaces to enhance visual communication.

/Experience in directing and guiding the visual style, mood, and tone of creative projects to align with brand identity and campaign objectives.

/Understanding of production processes for both print (brochures, posters, etc.) and digital (web graphics, social media assets, banners) formats.

/Familiarity with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles, particularly for digital platforms and websites.

/Basic knowledge of photography and videography techniques, as well as experience in directing photo and video shoots when necessary.

/Understanding of color psychology, composition techniques, and visual hierarchy to create compelling and effective designs.

/Ability to create storyboards and visualize concepts to communicate ideas effectively to clients and team members.

/Skills in managing multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities, allocating resources, and meeting deadlines within budget constraints.

/Proficiency in presenting creative concepts and ideas to clients and stakeholders, articulating the rationale behind design decisions effectively.

/Motion Design is a plus.
